Our Story
While traveling with his son, PRO ANGLER Mike McClelland, Rodney, as a co-angler, needed a quick, easy and efficient way to carry his fishing equipment. Driving down the highway the idea came to him ... make a holder similar to a gun case but for fishing rods and reels! He immediately started the process of making the first prototype in January, 1995.
PRO LOCKER® is THE ORIGINAL ROD CARRYING SYSTEM ... now entering its 28th year. With many design changes through the years we now have found the BEST ... the 3-5-8 DESIGN! You can carry as many as 8 rods/reels or as few as 3 or 5. The bag comes with a three rod tip-end divider, two rod sleeves and two lure wraps. The rod sleeves can be used on casting rods and are excellent for spinning rods. PRO LOCKER® is the ONLY carrying case that has a tip-end divider which totally eliminates all tangle. The Velcro hook and loop is fully adjustable to suit the fit and stagger of your rods and reels. The PRO LOCKER® will hold a variety of rod lengths up to a 7’6” rod. We are very proud to say PRO LOCKER® is the only carrying system on the market that is 100% American made. All the cutting and sewing of our product is done in Northwest Arkansas.
